What an insult to the men and women who VOLUNTARILY serve to protect our great nation. As a veteran, I too am insulted by his comments, but that is secondary to the insult that cuts very deep to the rest of our brave soldiers, airmen/women, marines and sailors who have made the ultimate sacrifice. What a disgrace for a U.S. senator to lay the foundation for the hatred and disrespect that our own fathers endured after coming home from Vietnam. Have we not learned from our past? Will we really allow this scumbag to disrespect those who protect our very way of life? I urge you to stand up and speak out against this group-think that slime like Kerry is trying to instill. Remember this: if you don't support OUR war, don't take it out on our troops. We had a great time. We were joined by Mike, Marnie, Natalie, George and Joyce. Sarah played with the pumpkins and slid down a huge, inflatable slide with Daddy. Her favorite part of the trip was the petting zoo. She LOVED the goats the best. There are pictures from the trip in the 2006 October Gallery.
